With at least 3-4 years experience of 3rd line infrastructure support you will be responsible for the following; Main Responsibilities● Manage and maintain Active Directory, including design, configuration, user and groupmanagement, and security policies.● Implement and manage Windows Server infrastructure, including installation,configuration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.● Design and implement disaster recovery solutions for critical servers and services.● Conduct regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability.● Monitor server performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.● Perform system upgrades and migrations according to established procedures.● Collaborate with the IT team to implement new server technologies and applications.● Document server configurations and procedures for future reference.● Adhere to IT security policies and best practices. Technical Skills needed for the Infrastructure Support role include;● Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems (2012 R2, 2016, 2019).● Active Directory administration, including group policy management, user and groupcreation, and security configuration.● Experience with DNS and file services configuration.● Working knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).● Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (Veeam).● Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.● Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Core Knowledge Requirements needed for the Infrastructure support role;● 5+ years of experience in a large 24/7 enterprise and ITIL environment.● Experience with Windows Server (2012, 2016 or 2019).● Ability to create/manage Domain Services and configuration including disaster recoveryscenarios, managing security groups, delegation, OU structure, object types, andattributes.● Experience with Active Directory, VMWare and Veeam technologies.● Knowledge of the 3 large hyperscalers.● Human competencies: teamwork and multicultural awareness.● Leadership skills: initiative, effective communication, ability to manage workload andmeet deadlines. Qualifications● Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.● Microsoft certification (MCSA/MCSE Windows Server), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, and / or Microsoft Certified Expert.
