You'll need to have a strong understanding of payroll systems, ideally ADP and have experience in processing payroll for medium to large sized businesses. With a full understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, Taxable Benefits, Auto Enrolment & HMRC reconciliations, you'll work closely with the wider Payroll Team and Payroll Manager to ensure a timely and accurate completion of monthly payroll. More about the role; To work alongside payroll providers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the monthly payrolls, working to tight deadlines and challenging SLAs Delivery of an efficient and effective payroll service, ensuring people are paid accurately and on time Respond to Payroll queries through the Query Management System, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Process starters, leavers, absences, monthly changes, and calculate payments such as overtime, statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, Pensions and other adjustments. To liaise closely with colleagues in the finance department, ensuring that monthly reconciliations for budget purposes are undertaken.
