Key Responsibilities:
Managing the entire bidding process from start to finish.
Conduct discovery calls with potential clients.
Create tailored bid documents to respond to Invitations to Tender (ITTs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with agility and customization.
Produce final bid submissions utilising In Design and Microsoft templates.
Working with partners to drive best practice throughout the process.
Gather feedback from the potential client after the process is completed.
Generate and refine fresh content: assess recent bids, offer suggestions for enhancing submissions, and stay current with the latest bid practices.
Review tender results and generate quarterly statistics.
Play a role in enhancing the capability of the proposal team.
Develop standardised documents and self-service resources for the broader organisation.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or relevant.
2-3 years of previous experience working in Proposals and Bids.
Skilled at supporting senior team members to meet deadlines.
Proficient in proofreading and editing.
Demonstrated writing abilities in tenders, web content, advertising, and direct mail.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Skilled in a professional services or collaborative partnership setting.
Databases with a relational structure and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Salary and Benefits:
R350 000 - R450 000 / year (based on relevant experience)
