Responsibilities Attend all aspects of the IS&T support function for all South Africa branches, as well as the Botswana & Namibian offices.2. Duties General Responding to technical support calls from end users of computers and software applications. Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution. Researching, diagnosing, reporting, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve system issues Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams Raise Tickets for issues that need to be escalated to the Corp IS&T Support Team on Veo Now (Ticketing Platform)Identify all Information Technology needs within the company (Southern Africa) and to ensure that these are met. Communicate with users on IS&T related requests. Setting up computers and printers which includes but is not limited to installing windows, anti-virus, installation of additional software programs, as well as deployment and redeployment of Chromebooks. Assist in installation of new network equipment (Firewalls / Switches / Cables / Wi Fi AP’s) and any other technical issues Installing and Configuring computer hardware / software / systems / networks / data backups / MFP. Upgrade and Repair all the company computers (Chrome OS / Windows OS / Linux OS) as well as the company's LAN/ WAN as and when necessary. Every reasonable effort must be made to eliminate unnecessary risk and downtime. Onsite computer and related device maintenance, repairs and upgrades Monitoring and Maintaining computer systems and networks. Adding computers to the domain Obtaining quotes and placing orders with the Procurement Department and Admin work Ordering of IS&T equipment Dealing with Suppliers to provide the necessary Support function to your daily duties. Liaising with service providers regarding remote server issues (AWS platforms / Azure platforms / GCP platforms)Referring complex IS&T issues to service providers Maintaining All systems security level to be compliant with the company Groups standards to combat any security threats. Crowdstrike (on Enterprise Scale) or similar, as well as all other assistance required by the CISOUpdate all the necessary IS&T Inventory lists at all times when changes are made to all and any IS&T related matters. Experience with Google Workspace is essential as users will require assistance in the use and management of this platform. Ensure the Google profiles & email addresses created and assigned to employees Assist with creating and setting up of profiles for communication and utilising Google shared drives. Perform all the necessary data backups and Google Accounts of Ex-Employees. Archiving information when requested by management Ensure that all phone extensions (MITEL Vo IP) are created and assigned to employees Ensure that ALL requirements and instructions of IS&T Headquarters are carried out and implemented within the necessary time frames to ensure compliance with company Group Policies, Procedures and standards. Perform ALL necessary IS&T Support functions.
