Minimum requirements for the role:
Must have an M.Sc. Agric/B.Sc Agric in Animal Science of similar
Minimum 2 years experience in a Technical Sales position in animal feed of similar role will be required
Knowledge in Ruminants would be a distinct advantage
Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office
Must have valid drivers license with own reliable transport License
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing technical support to ruminant clients.
Achieving the sales budget and completing scheduled projects.
Working closely with the Technical Department to compile and implement technical support plans.
Promoting value added services to clients.
Monitoring farm feed quality and advising on product applications.
Compiling sales documents and reports.
Attending and presenting at farmers days and study groups.
Implementing marketing and business growth initiatives.
