ENVIRONMENT: A cutting-edge Fin Tech company is seeking a Sales Consultant to deliver seamless client experiences through product demonstrations and presentations. The ideal candidate should be a well-networked professional with expertise in sales strategies, client management, and operations. They must possess a good understanding of the payment industry, optimize sales infrastructure, and contribute to expanding the customer base. Key responsibilities include building relationships with clients and merchants, managing commercial engagements, and ensuring timely project finalization. The role involves managing prospects through the sales lifecycle, from lead generation to onboarding new merchants. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields, or a recognized business-related diploma, along with proven experience in B2 B sales within the fintech industry or banking sector. Successful individuals are to be based in one of the following areas i.e. Western Cape, Gauteng, Kwa Zulu Natal, Northern Province, Bloemfontein, or the Eastern Cape. DUTIES: New Business Development Relationship building. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging trends in the Fin Tech industry. Identify key decision-makers within target organizations and establish relationships to generate sales leads. Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and goals. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of the Fin Tech solutions. Collaborate with the Product Development and Technical teams to tailor Fin Tech solutions to meet the unique requirements of clients. Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and position the company's products effectively. Create and present compelling proposals, highlighting the benefits and ROI of the Fin Tech solutions. Work closely with the Sales team to negotiate contracts and close deals. Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor, staying informed about industry trends and advising clients on how to leverage Fin Tech solutions to achieve their business objectives. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Continuously assess and refine sales strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience. Provide feedback from the field to contribute to the improvement of products and services. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools. Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends. Report to the Senior Regional Sales Manager. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field OR recognised Business-related Diploma. Experience/Skills – Proven experience in B2 B sales within the Fin Tech industry or Banking sector. Strong knowledge of financial technology solutions and trends. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport is essential.
