Our platform has approximately 1000 fulfiller users supporting 40,000 Client end users through 15 Portals and is continually evolving through the adoption of increased ITSM and CSM (TPSM) functionality. Our busy and growing internal Service Now team work with both internal stakeholders and Clients, and are central to the continuing success of our organisation Position Overview: A Service Now Developer plays a crucial role in managing an organization’s Service Now platform, which automates IT service management processes. Their responsibilities include designing, configuring, developing, troubleshooting, and implementing both baseline and custom applications to enhance the platform. This senior role will work with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Architects and Business Analysts to ensure that the scoping, design and execution of configuration and development work is properly prioritised and delivered to timelines agreed with stakeholders. Responsibilities: As part of our team, you can expect to: Design, develop, configure, and customise Service Now applications and services Deliver new functionality across applications Support the entire development lifecycle Assist the platform administrator team with incident resolution and request delivery where needed Participate in requirements gathering and design Develop, install, and troubleshoot Service Now applications Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality bar is being met with regard to coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques used to train other developers on Service Now system software Develop enhancements for applications developed by the Service Now team Providing input for technical documentation (user manuals) Generation of work estimates for new work in chargeable projects Qualifications & Experience: The right candidate for this role will have: Certified System Administrator status Certified Implementation Specialist status for ITSM (Desired) Certified Implementation Specialist for CSM Configuration experience of Service Now CSDM, Performance Analytics, CMDB, Asset Management and Self Service Portals.
