Job Summary:
As the Team Lead, you'll provide visionary leadership to ensure our financial management information system is both effective and efficient. Your role will involve quality cost management and control, driving the financial success of our organization.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Regular/Routine:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to your team, aligning their activities with medium-term goals.
Review statutory reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Optimize resource allocation and make recommendations to the CFO.
Develop and monitor Unit Heads, enhancing their tactical management skills.
Ensure full regulatory compliance through unit oversight and recommend necessary actions to the CFO.
Set and agree on short-term action plans with Unit Heads.
Take prompt corrective actions to achieve group objectives.
Monitor the performance of subordinates to meet established business goals.
Specifications:
Minimum Education: A good first Degree in any discipline. A relevant Masters degree and professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Formal Training: Banking Law/Regulation
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years of banking experience. Experience in auditing will be an added advantage.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of banking operations (Domestic & International Operations)
Strong accounting and financial management skills
Excellent reconciliation skills (data entry/documentation)
Proficiency in environmental/industry analysis
Expertise in financial analysis and interpretation
Experience with Database Management Systems
